Message with out addressing the stresses put on the wrist pins and rod bearings...

I thought of two ways to do it... Shorter pistons and rods. Then shaving the heads to raise the compression back up.

Or shorter stroke crank, a little longer rods, and maybe somewhat taller pistons. Less movement out of the rod and piston combo but still the same compression or maybe having to shave the block deck a little to keep the compression the same.

Its amazing to think a motor makes over 700 hp while naturally aspirated with 2.4 litters and a 46.5mm stroke... Not to mention the sound of the motor that makes your hair stand up on the back of your neck.

I found a pretty cool video of renault's old v10 setup. Its amazing to watch.
